March 20, 2026

This month, 2nd Chance Indiana is unveiling the beginning downloads of what will be the most comprehensive listing of fair chance (2nd chance) employers ever compiled for our state. And, our Career Path Trainer, Doug Evans, has just finished up two more cohorts, having graduated a total of 200 men and women have now participated in 2nd Chance Indiana Career Path Workshops in facilities around Indiana. Lots more too!

Growing….Growing…Wow!

This month, 2nd Chance Indiana is unveiling the beginning downloads of what will be the most comprehensive listing of fair chance (2nd chance) employers ever compiled for our state.
The volume of fair chance employers is impressive, and it is searchable by location and job type, with links to each employer’s jobs available.

As more downloads continue, it will be the most comprehensive catalog of opportunity for Indiana reentrants ever compiled, with 1,800 employers (so far) that will be multiplied by the number of locations in the state with an estimate of 5,000 locations in Indiana.
On April 1st, 2ndChanceIN.com will have the first download with more to follow. (And, this is not just the Targets and Krogers; it includes the "mom and pop" local employers too.)

Also, in this issue of our Newsletter, reports from Duvall Work Release Facility, where 2nd Chance Indiana trains and counsels job seekers as they return into society, an extremely high percentage - 73% - of them not only found jobs, but more than half of them are being paid at a beginning rate of $20.67 an hour.

In other news, our Career Path Trainer, Doug Evans, has just finished up another men’s and another women's cohort. With these groups graduating, a total of 200 men and women have now participated in 2nd Chance Indiana Career Path Workshops in facilities around Indiana.

Finally, 2CI has begun a partnership with Skilled US, that provides training opportunities for reentrants in advanced manufacturing, construction, architecture, engineering, business and IT services, healthcare, life sciences, and transportation and logistics.

And...it's time we taught our kids about the danger of drugs. Check out this month's Blog Post Here: https://conta.cc/40JXgLT
