Jeremy Hayes is like many men who paid the price for a mistake and just wanted a better life. He wrote us recently and said, "A little over two weeks after I got out of jail, I was given a second chance , and that opportunity changed my life.

Since the end of Federal funding that helped reentrants start a new life with a job and a paycheck, those 58% of reentrants who do not have transportation will not be able to get to their jobs. For so many, van transportation is the only way to get to work every day, on time. And, right now 20 more second-chance Employers are ready to hire reentrants if 2nd Chance Indiana van transportation can find the funding to be able to deliver workers to their locations on time every day.

And here’s a testimonial 2nd Chance Indiana just received: Jeremy Hayes is like many men who paid the price for a mistake and just wanted a better life. He wrote us recently and said, “A little over two weeks after I got out of jail, I was given a second chance , and that opportunity changed my life. He says, “Getting a job with a second-chance employer gave me more than just income—it gave me dignity, structure, and hope. I show up every day grateful for the chance to work and to keep growing.

I’m not the same person I was before. I’ve learned from my mistakes, and now I’m focused on faith, education, and hard work.”

Also, our latest job training group marked 180 men who have participated in 2nd Chance Indiana’s Career Path Workshops, while the 2ndChanceIndiana.com website has had an amazing 250,687 visits this year, with 1.65 million hits!
