A new nonprofit is promising to unite churches, businesses and city leaders in an effort to tackle racism and poverty in Indianapolis’ highest crime areas.

Unite Indy will mobilize volunteers, expertise and funding to support urban churches, ministries and charities in hopes of bringing jobs and new opportunities to the Indianapolis neighborhoods that need it most.
