A new prison near LaPorte, Indiana, is under construction. It will be the state's largest prison, and will hold more than 4,000 inmates. Scheduled to open in 2027, the new facility will be "more about rehabilitation and less about punishment."
Also new is an Employer Relationship Manager at 2nd Chance Indiana. It reflects our commitment to working with employers who will hire those with a criminal record. The job has been filled by a new team member, Tyler Carlson.
