This month, 2nd Chance Indiana is unveiling the beginning downloads of what will be the most comprehensive listing of fair chance (2nd chance) employers ever compiled for our state. And, our Career Path Trainer, Doug Evans, has just finished up two more cohorts, having graduated a total of 200 men and women have now participated in 2nd Chance Indiana Career Path Workshops in facilities around Indiana. 2nd Chance Indiana is helping 80 reentrants get to and from work in 20 Indiana towns and cities, through 11 counties, to work for 23 employers. Without transportation help, these folks would not be able to get to and from work or keep their jobs. Successful employment increases self-sufficiency and a commitment to improved health and a better future.

Lots going on! 2nd Chance Indiana will soon be debuting an online catalog of apprenticeships, certifications, and educational opportunities for reentrants across the state of Indiana, as well as a greatly expanded database of second-chance employers in the state. These opportunities will increase the earning potential of our reentering men and women who want a better life, and are willing to work for it. Plus lots more!
